    fresh pineapple
  • 1 c
    fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1
    orange, peeled, sliced and seeded
  • 1/2 c
    seedless red grapes
  • 1
    kiwifruit, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 tsp
    grated lime rind
  • 1/2 c
    fresh lime juice
  • 3 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1 Tbsp
    light rum
  • 1 Tbsp
    grand marnier or other orange flavored liqueur
  • 1
    banana, sliced

How To Make mai tai fruit salad

    Cut the pineapple in half lengthwise, leaving leaves intact. Remove the pulp in chunks, leaving 1/2 inch thick shells. Set the shells aside.

    Combine the pineapple chunks, strawberries, orange, grapes, and kiwifruit in a bowl. Combine the lime rind and the next 4 ingredients; stir well, and pour over the fruit mixture.

    Add the bananas, and toss gently. Spoon the fruit mixture into the reserved shells to serve.
