I have NO IDEA where the name of this salad came from....all I know is that we really like it!!

Ingredients For madonna salad

  • 1 pkg
    (3 oz,) apricot jello
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 can
    (sm) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 pkg
    (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 jar
    (lge.) apricot-tapioca baby food
  • 1
    (8 oz.) ctn. cool whip

How To Make madonna salad

  • 1
    Mix Jello,(with liquid listed on box) sugar, and pineapple together in a saucepan, and bring to a boil; mix well.

    Remove from heat to cool. Cool until beginning to thicken.

    Meanwhile, mix cream cheese with baby food. Combine with the cooled Jello mixture.

    Fold in Cool Whip.
  • 5
    Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
