My mother, Lucille, made this relish for as long as I can remember. She used the old metal food grinder that tightened to a table with a vise until she got her first food processor. Does that bring back any old memories?

1 lbpackage fresh cranberries

1 cgranulated sugar

1large fresh sweet orange

1large red delicious apple

1large package cherry gelatin

1 cchopped pecans
How To Make lucille's cranberry relish

1This is best done the day before it is needed. It is great as a leftover served on a turkey sandwich with lettuce.

2Wash and throw out soft cranberries. Core the apple, and remove any seeds from the orange. Grind all of these in a food processor till fine, but not pureed. Mix all ingredients well and chill in a covered container.

3Stir the mixture every hour till needed. Adjust the sweetness to your taste. Enjoy!
