This creamy and delicious fruit salad won in our United Way Potluck contest at work today. It is delightful and easy to prepare! This would be a great addition to a holiday meal!

Ingredients For kay's fruit salad - steph

  • 1 lg
    can of pineapple in heavy syrup (save juice)
  • 1 lb
    grapes, sliced
  • 60 sm
    marshmallows (or fewer if you desire)
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 Tbsp
    flour
  • 2 - 3 Tbsp
    pineapple juice
  • 1/2 pt
    whipping cream

How To Make kay's fruit salad - steph

    Put fruit and marshmallows in bowl. Heat the sugar, egg, flour and pineapple juice over medium heat until thick; let the custard cool. Whip 1/2 pint of whipping cream and fold in the custard. Mix with the fruit and marshmallows.

    I think this would be a very versatile fruit salad as you could use any combination of fruit you would like. It is very creamy and tasty; enjoy!!!
