Recently I wanted a salad w/ a fall taste, so I made a basic salad and added what I though would make it taste more harvesty. It's great w/ a pork and apple dinner.

Ingredients For harvest salad

1/2 cwalnuts, chopped

1/4 cfresh cranberries
-
1/4 cbalsamic vinegar
-
1 cchopped red onion
-
1 Tbspsugar

1 Tbspdijon mustard
-
1 colive oil
-
salt and pepper to taste

10 corganic mixed field greens

2 mdred delicious apples, cored and thinly sliced.
How To Make harvest salad

1Heat oven to 350 Spray a baking sheet w/ cooking spray. Spread chopped walnuts on baking sheet in single layer. Bake 10 mins.

2In blender, blend cranberries, vinegar, onion, sugar, and mustard until smooth. Add oil and season w/ salt & pepper.

3In lg bowl, toss together mixed greens, apples, and cranberry mix to coat. Sprinkle w/ toasted walnuts.
