I made this recipe for a pot luck one year and they asked if they could keep the leftovers. Thanksgiving...so much food.

Ingredients For fruit salad with orange dressing

  • 1 pkg
    vanilla instant pudding (3.5 oz size)
  • 1 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/3 c
    orange juice, thawed concentrate
  • 3/4 c
    sour cream
  • 1 can
    20 oz pineapple tidbits,drained
  • 1 can
    mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 can
    peaches (15oz can), drained
  • 2
    bananas, sliced
  • 1
    green apple, cored and chopped
  • 10
    strawberries, sliced

How To Make fruit salad with orange dressing

    Mix pudding, milk, and orange juice concentrate in medium mixing bowl and beat on high for 2 minutes. Stir in sour cream.

    Mix all the drained fruit and fresh fruit except bananas in serving bowl. I like to add small portions of the dressing until all the fruit is coated, but most of the time there is left over dressing. I use that for a fruit dip.

    Pour dressing over fruit and fold together. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Before serving add sliced bananas.
