Ingredients For fruit salad with lemon basil syrup

  • 1 bunch
    grapes
  • 1 pkg
    strawberries
  • 1 lg
    mango, ripe
  • 2 lg
    lemons
  • 3 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    basil, sliced

How To Make fruit salad with lemon basil syrup

    Wash and cut fruit. Place in a bowl.

    Zest of one lemon in to bowl of fruit

    In a small saucepan add sugar and juice of two lemons.
  • 4
    Bring to a boil and boil til slightly thick.
  • 5
    Turn off heat and add basil. Steep for 5 min.
  • 6
    Pour lemon basil syrup over fruit salad and refrigerate until ready to eat.
