Great summer fruit salad that's very refreshing.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Fresh fruit salad is a great dish to serve at any summer BBQ. This recipe enhances the flavor of the fresh fruit with a can of lemonade concentrate. Marinating in lemonade brightens the fruit and makes it pop with a sweet, tart flavor. A yummy side dish or dessert that screams summer.

Test Kitchen Tips
Ball the fruit any size you'd prefer, large or small. Just be mindful of your serving dish and adjust accordingly.
  • Watermelon, cantaloupe, and melon scooped with melon baller.
    1
Using a melon baller, ball all the watermelon, cantaloupe, and melon. Put it in a bowl.
  • Cut grapes and strawberries added to the bowl.
    2
Then put in the grapes and strawberries (cut in half).
  • Defrosted lemonade poured over the fruit.
    3
Then take the defrosted lemonade and pour it on top of the fruit. Do not mix the lemonade concentrate with water.
  • Chilling the fruit salad.
    4
    Chill for about 1 hour.
  • A large bowl of Fruit Salad ready to serve.

Serve in plastic cups with a fork. Awesome for summer parties. If using only half of the fruit, use only half of the can defrosted lemonade.
