This is my version of a waldorf salad. It does NOT last long @ our house!!

Ingredients For nan's fruit salad

3 1/2 - 4 cchopped apples (use either delicious or granny smiths or a mix depending on if you want a slightly tart or sweet salad ) (3 or 4 apples depending on size)

1/3 craisins
-
1 1/4 cchopped walnuts

1 1/4 cchopped celery
-
3/4 cwhipped cream cheese - mixed berry is tasty!

1 1/2 cwhipped cream
-
1 Tbspvanilla extract
-
1 Tbspground cinnamon
-
1 Tbspeither apple or pumpkin pie spice
How To Make nan's fruit salad

1Chop apples, celery & walnuts.

2Place in a 3 qt mixing bowl; chopped apples, raisins, walnuts and celery; set aside.

3Mix together, in 3 or 4 c mixing bowl; cream cheese, whipped cream, vanilla and spices.

4Fold cream cheese and whipping cream mixture into the apples, celery, raisins and walnuts. Mix Well.

5Chill 15 - 20 min. or so before serving. You can sprinkle a little cinnamon or apple pie spice, on top for garnish.
