I had this recently @ a friends Home On Game Night, While Playing games, This was Served. This was So Good I had to ask for the Recipe. This was Topped with a Cream Cheese Topping and Sprinkles of Toasted Sliced Almonds and that really set this over the Edge. Note, This is not Overly sweet. You have got to try this with out any doubt You'll Be Making this For Your Mom's On "Mothers Day"! Or your Next Gathering. But Why Wait?? Note: Prep time is Simply Mixing the Jello,Pineapple and Cherry Filling togeher, "Plus" add the Chilling time. Photo Coming, Its chilling in the refer as I am Posting.

Ingredients For freda's cherry delight

  • FREDA'S CHERRY DELIGHT
  • 1 Can
    cherry pie filling
  • 1 sm. can
    drained, crushed pineapple (approx 1 cup)
  • 1 lg Box
    cherry jello or black cherry
  • 1 sm Jar
    marshmallow cream (7oz)
  • 3 C
    boiling water
  • 1-8 oz Pkg
    cream cheese (@ room temp)
  • 1/2 pint
    whipping cream
  • optional topping: nuts", sliced almonds, walnuts or pecans

How To Make freda's cherry delight

    Dissolve Jello in the Boiling Water. Add: drained Pineapple & Cherry Pie Filling, Pour into a 9X9 Square Pan. Chill until Set.

    Whip Cream till stiff. In seperate small Bowl, Mix and Blend Cream Cheese @ room temp, Add; Marshmallow Cream. (Should be Creamy, with no lumps) FOLD into the Whip cream. Spread on top of the Set Cherry Jello Sprinkle with Toasted Almonds. Cut into Squares to Serve. ENJOY this Pretty as a Picture Recipe, for Any Occasion. . . Reds and white colors and the Cherries Just Make this a Delight to Serve.
