All of the ingredients used are available year round and it keeps extremely well in the frig. I use red delicious apples as they are pretty. This is a favorite at our house and I hope at yours!

Ingredients For festive fruit salad

1 20 oz canpineapple chunks

1/2 csugar

3 Tbspall-purpose flour

1egg, lightly beaten

2 11 oz canmandarin oranges, drained

1 20 oz canpears, drained and chopped

3kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced

2 lgunpeeled apples, chopped

1 cpecan halves
How To Make festive fruit salad

1Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Pour pineapple juice into a small saucepan. Add sugar and flour. Bring to a boil. Quickly stir in egg. Cook until thickened. Remove from heat and cool.

2In a large bowl, combine pineapple, oranges, pears, kiwi, apples, and pecans. Pour the dressing over the fruit and blend well. Cover. Chill before serving.
