My grandmother would bring this every Thanksgiving. I could eat it all day. Now I make it for the holidays.

Ingredients For cranberry relish

1 large boxcherry jello( i use sugar free)

1 cboiled water
-
1 ccold water
-
20 ozcan crushed pineapple(drained)

1 cansmall, mandarin oranges(drained)

1 ccelery(diced)
-
1apple(diced)
-
1 csugar(i use 1/2 cup since the sugar free jello is so sweet)

1 cwalnuts or pecans(chopped)
-
2 ccranberries
How To Make cranberry relish

1Grind the cranberries in a food chopper. Chop the nuts,celery and apple. Drain the mandarin oranges and pineapple. Reserve the juice.

2In a large bowl,mix 1 c. boiling water with jello. Stir till dissolved. Add 1 c. cold water and juice from pineapple and mandarin oranges. Add sugar and stir to dissolve.

3Add the fruits, nuts, and celery and mix well. I have added mini marshmallows to make it kid friendly. Pour into a serving dish or mold. Chill overnight.
