This has always been a Christmas and Thanks Giving favorite in our family. It started with my grandmother and now it's been passed down to my own daughter. I certainly hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do.

Ingredients For cranberry jello salad

  • 1 can
    cranberry sauce
  • 1 can
    whole caberries
  • 1 can
    canned mandarin oranges (drained)
  • 1 can
    cherry pie filling
  • 1 can
    fruit cocktail, canned (drained)
  • 2 box
    any red jello mix
  • 1/2 c
    pecans, in pieces
  • 1 c
    marshmallows, mini

How To Make cranberry jello salad

  • 1
    Dissolve Jello in 1 cup of hot water. Then add 2 cups of cold water to jello and refrigerate for about an hour or until thick.

    Then add the remaining ingredients except marshmallows. Pour jello mixture into a decorative bowl and top with mini marshmallows. Do not mix them in.

    Cover the bowl with foil or plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 to 5 hours. It's normal for the jello not to set completely, but it should not be watery.
