My two sons loved this when they were young. Now here comes my 6 grand children along to follow in their footsteps. What child does not like cotton candy?

Ingredients For cotton candy salad

  • 1---3oz. pkg
    blueberry-flavored gelatin
  • 1--8oz. can
    crushed pineapple in its own juice
  • 1 can
    mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1---12 oz
    carton cottage cheese
  • 1---9 oz
    container cool whip

How To Make cotton candy salad

    In small saucepan combine gelatin and undrained pineapple. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer 3---5 minutes or until gelatin is completely dissolved. Remove from heat.

    Gently stir in drained oranges.

    Chill 30 minutes or until slightly thickened.

    FOLD in with a rubber spatula the cottage cheese and cool whip. Transfer to medium bowl or medium casserole dish; Cover and chill 2 to 3 hours or until set.
