Perfect fruit and nut salad w/ bacon, and who doesn't love bacon? And the dressing just brings out the flavors so wonderfully.

Ingredients For chopped autumn salad w/ poppyseed dressing

  • 6 c
    romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 3 slice
    center-cut bacon
  • 1
    lg pear, chopped
  • 1
    lg red apple, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    peanuts, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    crumbled feta cheese, i used low-fat
  • 1/4 c
    light poppyseed dressing
  • 2 Tbsp
    balsamic vinegar

How To Make chopped autumn salad w/ poppyseed dressing

    Microwave bacon on a papr-toweled plate until crisp. Let cool, then crumble. Add all ingredients except dressing to a lg serving bowl.

    Drizzle w/ dressing and balsamic vinegar. Toss gently to coat.
