This is a wonderful Christmas recipe that I've made for the past couple of years and everyone seems to love it.

Ingredients For blue cheese and pear salad

  • 1/4 c
    polaner all fruit, seedless raspberry preserves
  • 1/4 c
    balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsp
    dijon mustard
  • 11/4 c
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 8 c
    organic salad greens
  • 2
    pears, cored, chopped.
  • 1 c
    sliced red onions
  • 1/4 c
    pecan halves
  • 1/3 c
    blue cheese, crumbled

How To Make blue cheese and pear salad

  • 1
    In saucepan, over medium-high heat, cook raspberry preserves and vinegar for 1 min. Increase heat to high and bring to a boil. Cook 1 min. Remove from heat.

    Stir mustard into preserves mix. slowly whisk in oil. Season w/ salt and pepper to taste.

    In bowl, gently toss last 5 ingredients. Drizzle salad w/ dressing, just before serving
