It is cold out and it make me think of winter. A friend gave this to me.So enjoy this salad as it may be your last one before we think of warm soups.

Ingredients For autumn apple salad

  • 1-------20 oz
    pineapple, crushed with juice
  • 2/3 c
    sugar
  • 1 pkg
    lemon gelatin
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c
    apples diced and unpeeled
  • 1 c
    chopped nuts
  • 1 c
    chopped celery
  • 1 c
    whipped topping
  • 1 bunch
    lettuce leaves

How To Make autumn apple salad

  • 1
    In saucepan, combine pineapple and sugar. Bring to a boil and boil for three minutes. Add gelatin and stir until dissolved. Add cream cheese, Stir until combined, cool. Fold in apples, nuts, celery and whipped topping. Pour into 9 inch square baking pan, chill until firm. Cut into squares and serve on lettuce leaves.
