Ok, so I know it's not a pic of an actual Angel Salad, but since I didn't have one yet, this is my youngest grandbay enjoying his first taste. This salad is something I have been making since my kids were small. It's the one thing they both request for Holidays & family dinners. You can double the recipe really well. I'll post an actual pic the next time I make this.

Ingredients For angel salad

  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1
    9 oz tub cool whip
  • 1 can
    (lg) crushed pineapple

How To Make angel salad

  • 1
    Beat cream cheese until smooth and creamy.

    add pecans, sugar, vanilla and pineapple. Mix well.
  • 3
    fold in coolwhip. Refrigerate until ready to serve. I prepare the night before I'm ready to serve.
