Ingredients For ribbon sandwich

one pound loaf white bread, unsliced, crust removed

butter, softened

chicken salad
-
egg salad
-
1 8oz. cream cheese, slightly softened

cream, for thinning

paprika
-
parsley, finely chopped
How To Make ribbon sandwich

1Slice loaf lengthwise into three equal slices. Butter tops of all slices.

2Spread finely minced chicken salad on first slice. Spread egg salad on second slice. Stack on the first bread slice.

3Turn third slice buttered side down; place on egg salad layer.

4Thin cream cheese with cream to spreading consistancy. Cover entire loaf with cream cheese.

5Sprinkle very lightly with paprika for color; garnish with parsley.

6Refrigerate until time to serve.
