Ingredients For cobb salad

  • DRESSING
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c
    lemon juice concentrate
  • 1 Tbsp
    red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • SALAD INGREDIENTS
  • 6 c
    finely shredded lettuce
  • 2 c
    finely chopped cooked chicken
  • 3
    hard-boiled eggs, finely chopped
  • 2 md
    tomatoes, seeded, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 c
    sweet onion, diced
  • 1
    ripe avocado, seeded, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 c
    ( 1 ounce) blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 c
    cooked,crumbled bacon

How To Make cobb salad

    In a small bowl with lid, or cruet, combine lemon juice, oil, vinegar, sugar and seasonings; shake well. Chill to blend flavors.

    In a large salad bowl, arrange remaining ingredients; chill. Just before serving, toss with dressing.
