Tarragon, what is that? I worked briefly in a Deli and they added Tarragon to their Chicken Salad. I tried it with my recipe and have had yummy success and rewarding comments. This Chicken salad recipe is really just a base. You can add a mariad of different things. fresh grapes or apples for a more fancy luncheon salad or keep it simple for sandwiches. Simple and basic. Let your tastebuds be your guide... It's all about the Tarragon. Try adding it to your recipe, I believe you will be pleasantly surprised.

Ingredients For chicken salad, simply the best

  • 3
    poached chicken breasts
  • 1 c
    chopped celery
  • 1/2 c
    cran raisins
  • 1/2 c
    walnuts, chopped medium
  • seasoned salt
  • SALAD DRESSING
  • 3/4 c
    mayonaise
  • 2 Tbsp
    tarragon, dried
  • salt to taste

How To Make chicken salad, simply the best

    Poach chicken seasoned with seasoned salt. Cool and chop chicken into a medium dice.

    While the chicken is cooking, chop celery and nuts. In a small bowl, Mix tarragon with mayonase, let it sit in the referigerator until you need it.

    Combine chicken, Celery, CranRaisins and nuts. Pour Mayonaise and Taragon Mixture and coat all ingredients well. Salt to taste
