Pumpkin Empanadas

INGREDIENTS
2 pounds fresh pumpkin (clean and cut into chunks)
4 oz piloncillo
1 stick cinnamon
1 anise star
½ Tablespoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ cup water
2 cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup butter
⅓ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
1 egg yolk
¼ cup brown sugar
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 egg
3 Tablespoons milk
sugar (for coating)
ground cinnamon (for coating)
