I make a large pork roast and between our friends, my hubby, and the kiddos, the whole thing is gone almost instantly! So easy anyone can do it and it takes no effort.

Ingredients
1 lg pork shoulder butt (be sure it will fit in slow cooker)
2 Tbsp salt
3 Tbsp black pepper
1 md red onion, rough chopped
4 c root beer, not diet; divided
12 oz sweet chili sauce
red pepper flakes, optional
hot chili sauce, optional

Directions
Step 1
Place pork in slow cooker and turn on low. Add in salt, pepper, onion, and 2 cups of root beer.
Step 2
Cook on low for 8 to 12 hours depending on the size of the roast.
Step 3
Cook until the pork is tender and can shred easily.
Step 4
At dinnertime put 2 cups root beer in a saucepan along with an entire 12 oz jar of sweet chili sauce. Add a hot chili sauce or red pepper flakes for an extra kick if you'd like. Bring to a boil.
