1/4 c. pale ale (we used Sierra Nevada)

1/4 tsp. Freshly ground black pepper
•
2 tbsp. baking soda
•
1 can Pillsbury Grands biscuits
•
Egg wash, for brushing biscuits
•
Coarse salt, for sprinkling
