2 cups champagne
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup (1.5 sticks) unsalted butter (for frosting)
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
4 cups confectioner's sugar (for frosting)
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup champagne (for frosting)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup whole milk (for frosting)
6 egg whites
1 tbsp vanilla extract (for frosting)
