1 teaspoon vanilla

20 grams cornstarch
120 grams caster sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
90 grams milk, at room temperature
85 grams unsalted butter, softened
200 grams canned crushed pineapple
60 grams canned pineapple syrup / pineapple juice
1 tablespoon cornstarch
40 grams canned pineapple syrup / pineapple juice
2 tablespoons dark rum / coconut rum
2 egg whites, at room temperature
100 grams caster sugar
170 grams unsalted butter, cut into cubes and at room temperature
1 teaspoon dark rum / coconut rum
