3- 4 pounds of yellow squash and cucumber sliced into 1/4 rounds

1 onion thinly sliced
•
2 red or green bell peppers, cored, seeded and sliced

2 TBS pickling salt
•
4 1/2 cups sugar
•
3 3/4 cups apple cider vinegar
•
3 tsp. mustard seeds
•
3 tsp celery seeds
•
3 tsp pickling spice (in a knee hi hose or cheesecloth)
