INGREDIENTS

• 1 cup of red beet juice (from canned beets)

• 1-1/2 cups cider vinegar
•
• a few canned beets (whole or slices)
•
• 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
•
• 12 peeled, hard-boiled eggs.
•
I like to throw a tablespoon or two of whole cloves into the boiling liquid.
