Candied sweet potatoes are another family recipe that I needed to make healthier. I took away the sugar and butter that made up a heavy syrup. Instead, I added agave nectar and olive oil in its place. Enjoy!

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Sweet and savory, you'll fall in love with every bite of these yummy roasted sweet potatoes. A crispy exterior gives way to a soft, pillowy inside. There is a hint of caramel flavor and a subtle earthiness in this side dish. The combination of sweet and warm spices elevate these roasted sweet potatoes. We adored the slight chili powder kick coupled with the zingy lime juice.
