My family loves dill, so I tweaked a roast recipe and came up with these yummy chops. This recipe is a keeper.

These creamy champagne dill pork chops are a simple dish with a fancy feel. The pork chops are tender once cooked in the rich dill sauce. Champagne gives the sauce a rich flavor. Sour cream thickens it up and the tang pairs nicely with the drill. This is an easy meal to make for a weeknight, but it would also be great for a special occasion. We served ours with buttered egg noodles and broccoli.

Ingredients For creamy champagne dill pork chops

1 Tbspdried dill

salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 cchampagne or white wine

1 mdonion, sliced

4pork chops

freshly chopped dill, for garnish
How To Make creamy champagne dill pork chops

1Mix together the sour cream dill, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

2In a skillet, brown the onions and pork chops. Remove the pork chops.

3Deglaze the pan with champagne. Make sure to lift all bits from the bottom of the pan. Add the sour cream mixture and whisk.

4Add the pork chops back into the pan and stir.

5Cover and simmer over low heat for 20-25 minutes.

6Serve over noodles or mashed potatoes. Top with fresh dill.
