This is a delicious cobbler for anyone who isn't crazy about peaches! It's perfect for summertime and it's easier to fix than you think. It can be doubled, tripled, and quadrupled very easily. The taste will AMAZE you! I hope you all enjoy it!

Warm cantaloupe?! Turns out it's amazing! Especially when it's combined with the sweet peaches in this easy cobbler. We would have never thought to pair those fruits together, so thank goodness for Melissa. A delicious summertime dessert.

Ingredients For cantaloupe peach cobbler

1ripe cantaloupe, seeded, peeled, cubed (about 3-4 cups)

1 canlarge, peaches - drained, 30 oz.

1/2 csugar

1/4 tspground ginger
-
1/2 tspnutmeg
-
1 tspcinnamon

1 tspvanilla

1/2 stickbutter
-
1 pinchsalt
-
1 stickbutter (to be melted in pan during preparation)
- TOPPING
-
1 cflour, self-rising
-
1 csugar
-
1 cmilk
-
1 tspvanilla

1/4 tspcinnamon
How To Make cantaloupe peach cobbler

1Combine all cobbler ingredients in a large saucepan. Cook until fruit is softened and sauce is slightly thickened. Remove from heat. Make sure you taste after combining and heating the ingredients. You may need to add more sugar or seasonings but it will all depend on your taste.

2Place 1 stick of butter in 13 x 9 pan and heat in 350 deg oven until melted. As this is melting, mix topping. Mix together all topping ingredients until smooth. If topping is too thick, add more milk until thinned.

3Pour fruit into the pan over melted butter. Pour topping over fruit. Sprinkle with sugar if desired.

4Bake at 350 deg until golden brown and bubbly (approx. 35 minutes).

5Remove from oven and serve while warm. Can top with whipped cream or ice cream.
