Minus the raspberry, this is a really good brownie recipe.... but WITH the raspberry these are do-a-jig delicious! The raspberry jam and cream cheese layer add a bit of tang to the rich and fudgy brownies.

Ingredients For raspberry cream cheese brownies

4 ozunsweetened chocolate baking squares

1/2 cbutter

2 1/3 csugar

1 tspvanilla

5 lgeggs

1 cflour
-
1/4 tspsalt

1/4 tspbaking powder

8 ozsoftened cream cheese

3/4 craspberry jam
How To Make raspberry cream cheese brownies

1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter and chocolate in the microwave. When smooth add 2 cups sugar and the vanilla.

2Beat in 4 eggs with a mixer. Add the flour, salt, and baking powder - stir this in by hand.

3Pour half of the batter into a greased 9 x 13 pan.

4In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, 1/3 cup of sugar, and 1 egg. Mix well and spread over the batter in a pan.

5Cover with the raspberry jam.

6Spoon the remainder of the brownie batter over the jam.

7Bake for 35-40 minutes.
