This is a very rich breakfast and very, very delish. You really won't need syrup to enjoy. It's so easy to make the night before and pop into the oven the next morning. This is also a wonderful brunch dish or dessert for something different.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Colleen is right.... no syrup is needed for this delicious French toast casserole. The brown sugar mixture melts and makes its own syrup. There's a bit of tang from the cream cheese. We tried it with French vanilla creamer and hazelnut - both tasted fantastic. So good and sweet, you could probably pass this off as a dessert. Serve with a little whipped cream and a cup of coffee for a special breakfast treat.
