(2 ratings)
I still have so much baby soft yarn in soft white, pale blue & funny print "green". So I learned how to make baby booties for a new born. I have enough for my two soon to be "Grand Nephews" & for me to put away for maybe oneday my child.

How To Make pretty little baby booties
-
1Frist make a chain of 17.
-
2Then count 3 loops & double crochet all the way down the chain.
-
3Then chain up 3 & trun around. Then double crochet all the way back down.
-
4Then in the next 3 loops do a slit knot & then chain up 3 & double crochet making sure to leave 3 loops at the end of the line.
-
5Then chain up 3 & double crochet all the way to the end of the line. Then make a slit knot & cut the yarn about 12 inchs long.
-
6Then fold the bootie pattern in half & poke the crochet hook into each stitch on each half grab the yarn & pull thru. Do this all the way along the edges of the bootie to seal the edges. Then make a sit knot & cut the yarn on ends.
-
7Then flip the yarn inside out. Becuase the inside is the outside. Couting the frist row of chainning 17 you should end up with 5 rows for each bootie.
-
8Then just keep making until you run out of yarn like me LOL....
