the lamb
(5 ratings)
The Lamb by William Blake ---- It is my all time favorite poem. I could listen to someone read this poem over and over again. It is so beautiful! Though it is speaking of the birth of Jesus Christ and appropriate to read at Christmas time, I love this to be read at Easter time as well. John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! Such a beautiful reminder for me and I hope you too.

1The Lamb by William Blake Little Lamb, who made thee Does thou know who made thee Gave thee life & bid thee feed. By the stream & o'er the mead; Gave thee clothing of delight, Softest clothing woolly bright; Gave thee such a tender voice. Making all the vales rejoice: Little Lamb who made thee Does thou know who made thee Little Lamb I'll tell thee, Little Lamb I'll tell thee; He is called by thy name, For he calls himself a Lamb: He is meek & he is mild, He became a little child I a child & thou a lamb, We are called by His name, Little Lamb God bless thee, Little Lamb God bless thee.
