While grilling a sandwich for my son, I played around with the napkin and seem to always fumble while trying to carry the plate and napkin and condiments. I came up with the simplest idea. I simply slit a cut in the side of the plate, and the napkin stays put! One less thing to carry. I will do this from now on when I serve a buffet style menu! I know, silly, but an easy no cost solution to an irritating issue. :)

    Simply take the paper plates ( or even foam or other disposable plates) and make a slit in the side rim. Fold a napkin and let the slit hold onto the plate. I dont know why I didnt think of this before!
