moth-repellent sachets

I bought some birdseed blocks one time and kept them in the original plastic shrink wrap in my coat closet. Big mistake! Within a few weeks, there were moths all over the closet and many had escaped into the house. What a pain to get rid of. I wish I had known about this easy repellant!

Ingredients For moth-repellent sachets

  • 1 Tbsp
    dried lavender
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried rosemary
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon or 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp
    black peppercorns
  • 1 tsp
    cloves
  • 1
    bay leaf

How To Make moth-repellent sachets

  • 1
    Add ingredients into a sachet bag or an individual fillable teabag.
  • 2
    Hang in closet or tuck into a drawer.
  • 3
    Replace when no longer fragrant. (If you don't enjoy any of the scents, don't use that particular spice. You can add thyme leaves if you like)
