A friend of mine posted this on her facebook page and I thought I'd give it a try. It's easy to make, does not use harsh or poisonous chemicals, recycle your plastic bottles and kill mosquitoes all in one! That's a win win in my book! I have no pics as I haven't tried this yet. But will be making them shortly. Just wanted to share this with all of you so you can start conquering your mosquitoes!!

How To Make mosquito traps-homemade
-
1Cut plastic bottle in half.
-
2Microwave or heat water on stove so it's hot - not boiling. Mix brown sugar with the hot water and let cool. When cool, pour it in the bottom half of the plastic bottle.
-
3Add the yeast. No need to mix. It creates carbon dioxide, which attracts mosquitoes.
-
4Place the funnel part of the plastic bottle upside down into the bottom half of the plastic bottle. Tape them together with BLACK electrical tape. Wraping black tape will help attract more mosquitoes as they are attracted to dark colors.
-
5Leave the top of the plastic bottle uncovered and place it outside in an area away from your normal gathering areas.
- Last Step: Don't forget to share! Make all your friends drool by posting a picture of your finished recipe on your favorite social network. And don't forget to tag Just A Pinch and include #justapinchrecipes so we can see it too!
