This is not a recipe, however, in the group "USA-States-Recipes" I suggested that it would be nice to also try to get ONE PERSON from EACH COUNTY, to join the group and tell a little about the county that she/or he lives in. I would like to visit other states, and I don't know a lot about the rest of the U.S.A., so it would be interesting to me. We have so many great recipes to share, and it would be wonderful to learn more about the place where you live.

Starting with MASSACHUSETTS, I live in the county of DUKES COUNTY. Which is made up of 6 towns:Edgartown,Oak Bluffs, Tisbury, West Tisbury, Chilmark and Aquinnah, and Gosnold a/k/a Cuttyhunk Island. We're ON THE ISLAND OF MARTHA'S VINEYARD. Presidents, and other royalty,Hollywood types, famous authors, artists, and many ordinary people vacation here. Locals:teachers, merchants, builders, elericians, plumbers, doctors, nurses, dentists, lawyers, and fishermen survive here, along with retired people. We have about 15,000 in our winter population, and about 100,000 people during the summer months! Fresh fish, produce and locally raised cattle and poultry are enjoyed. Bluefish, lobsters, scallops, summer flounder, scup, oysters and conch are plentiful here. Tell us about your area!
