emergency curtain idea
(2 ratings)
We had frilly lace toppers on our kitchen windows when we moved in. We haven't decided on paint yet and I am so tired of dog walkers looking un at me as they pass. So using 1 king sized sheet I made these until we could decide on a color scheme. But it is an easy idea for those just moving into a apartment or new home. Total project 3 curtains 1 1/2 hours unstalled. All hand sewn

2The above panels you use the nice seam from the bottom of the sheet as the bottom of the curtain. measure the lengh you need my window was 36 long so I made them 39 in these two (adding another 6 inches for the seam. Sew up both sides if they will be on long if they are very temperary dont bother with the sides. For the top make a seam like the top of the sheet. sew with a crossover stitch and hang on the tention rod.
