my daughter-in-law had gotten her grandmother a fabric calendar every year after she was born, grandmother, was going to throw them away after keeping them for so long, well, my daughter-in-law got them back, then ask me if i could make them into a quilt, for the same grandmother, so i did with pillowshams to match, was told grandmother cried, went over as a huge success.

How To Make days gone by (what i call it anyway)

1arrange calendars into the order of your preference, you will need to do some trimming on these, as they are all different, they need to be all the same size, or as close as you can get them, measure them, now cut your border strips, sew these together, layer your 3 layers on quilt rack, pin randomly, remove, make your prairie points, sew these on, now your ready to quilt this. pillow shams, measure your pillow lenghtwise, adding enough room for your hem, on both ends, have ends overlap about 5" in the middle on back side, pin, stitch down sides, turn rightside out, insert pillow, enjoy a job well done.
