caps for jars!
I just learned this trick this summer from a good friend in the North. He brought out some pickled asparagus and I noticed the lid. He told me it was one that he recycled! (I thought it looked familiar) I added the idea of putting the sealing disc in the cap for airtight storage--works GREAT!

How To Make caps for jars!

1Put the sealing disc inside the cap for airtight storage.

2If you don't need quite airtight just use the cap by itself!
