baby wave pattern blanket

This is the 3rd. baby blanket out of 4. It took me a week to master. It was done with the help of Stormy, Deb, Karla & a yahoo how to video I watched for almost 4 hours. LOL am slow but I got it done & it truned out great. I took it to my sister today for my niece & she LOVED it. She could have cared less about the baby clothes I bought, she was more into looking at the blankets. I feel good about the job I did. 2/17/12

How To Make baby wave pattern blanket
-
1Frist I sent 3 days watching a online vidoe & talking to Stormy, Deb & Karla. On how to make the "WAVE" pattern.
-
2Next I chained 21 plus 3 to make 40 inches long. Then I skipped 4 double crocheted 4, then double crocheted 3 tines in 1 hole. Then double corcheted 4 more & then down crocheted in the next 3 holes. The down stitich is kind of tricky. It is you double crochet once but you dont finish the stitich. Still leave 2 loops on the hook, grab yarn again. Then go into the next hole you should hve 4 loops now, grab & pull thru 2, you should have 3 loops. Grab yran agin go into the 3rd hole & garn yarn, now you should have 5 loops, grab yarn & pull thru 2, that leaves you with 4 loops, grab yarn & pull thru all 4 loops. then you finished the down wave stitich.

3I made 4 rows of the blue, 2 rows of the green & 1 row of the white. I made it little bit longer then 40 inches big.

4I hope I wrote out the pattern right.
