This is my frist baby blanket I made for my soon to be Grand Nephew. I used 2 colors "Soft Baby" yarn by Red Heart in Lilac & Bunny Print. I am gonna make 3 more baby blankets. 1 more for a boy & not sure what the other 2 will be yet. Took me 1 week & 3 days to finish this blanket.My fingers hurt but I loved every mintue of making the blanket. Now on to the 2nd baby blanket. 1/22/12

1 1/2red heart "soft baby" yarn.... lilac

1/2red heart "soft baby" yarn.... bunny print
How To Make 1st. grand nephew's baby blanket.

1Using a basic stich. Make 7 blocks with 16 rows inside each block with the Lilac color. -
2Next still using a bacis stich make 8 blocks with 5 rows inside each block with the Bunny Print color.

3Then using a double stich make 2 rows along the four edges of each side as the trim using the Bunny Print color.
