Our dog Peanut LOVES treats! What dog doesn't? I feel so much better about giving him one that is homemade with ingredients I can pronounce. This is my version of a couple different recipes that makes a crunchy treat that Peanut really enjoys.

  • 2/3 c
    old- fashioned oats
  • 1/2 c
    dried parsley flakes
  • 1 Tbsp

How To Make pb2 dog treats

  • 1
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, mash banana well. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Mixture will be dry so I use my hands to kneed mixture together. Roll small balls of dough depending on the size of your dog. For my Yorkie, I roll the size of an acorn. Place on prepared baking sheet. Flatten dough with palm of your hand or bottom of a glass. It should roughly make the size of a quarter.

Bake for about 40 minutes until firm and lightly browned. Cool completely. Store in refrigerator or freezer.
