  I got Ace when he was 7 months old, which was about 7 years ago. I got an email at school where I work that someone's brother had this dog that he didn't pay any attention to and that was tied up outside all the time. I didn't even know what he looked like and emailed back that I wanted him. When I went to pick him up he was the cutest, sweetest dog. He wasn't potty trained and didn't even know how to play... that didn't take long to teach him though. He is a "mama's boy" as my husband puts it and I love it. I went through a tough first marriage and Ace was always there for me, always comforting me, always licking away my tears. When we split up I couldn't take him with me and my ex threatened to take him to the pound. I did the hardest thing I've ever had to do... I found him a home. About a year later I had met a new man (my now wonderful husband) and got a call from the lady who had taken Ace that her and her husband were moving to retired persons community and couldn't take Ace and wondered if I wanted him back. So I got my Ace back and he's been with us for the past 6 years!!! I love him lots, tons and bunches and look forward to him getting so excited every time I walk through my front door!!!
