AKC pups are noted for joint problems do to inter breeding. My Husky Cody-lu sufferes from bad knees. Over weight dogs also have a better chance at having problems as well as working or very active dogs. Huskys are pullers as well as runners, sheep hearders also used lots of leg movements. Older dogs also can used this.

How To Make doggy knee, hip and joint bars

Preheat the oven to 300°F. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients. Spray a 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan with non stick spray really well. Transfer the dough into the pan and push it all flat and level. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and score the bars for easier cutting. Bake for an additional 20 minutes. Turn the oven off and leave them in there to finish baking. A lot of ovens vary, so check on them often. Makes 2-1/2 to 3 dozen healthy yummy (he said so) bars for your best friend. Store in airtight containers. Great for gift giving at xmas time
