I've been using this for a while now and am so excited about it. My skin has never been so soft. No more expensive lotions etc. This is the best so far. I hope you like it too. *Please note that I have revised the original recipe because I had mistakenly put the wrong amount of olive oil. This is the correct recipe now. Sorry if you made the original. Just add 2 more tablespoons of the oil and it will be just fine.*

  • 1/4 c
    extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp
    pure vanilla extract

How To Make homemade exfoliating scrub

  • 1
In a medium sized bowl combine the two sugars. Add the olive oil and stir together. Add the vanilla to the sugars and oil, stirring to combine well.
  • 2
Divide into smaller containers that will be safe to bring into the shower-not glass-and with a lid to keep the water out.

To use, put a small amount-approximately a teaspoon for the face and more for larger areas of the body, into your hands and simply rub into skin until sugars dissolve. Do this while you are in the shower. Rinse off the excess granules. Be careful as the oil can make the floor slippery. You will have such nice soft skin when you dry off!
