Mince and Tatties - Something Sweet Something Savoury

"Learn how to make old fashioned Scottish Mince and Tatties - just like Granny used to make. A cheap, comforting meal for cold weather days...."

INGREDIENTS
500g pack Minced beef (I usually go for one with a 10-15% fat content)
1 Oxo Beef Stock Cube
1 Large Onion, peeled and finely diced
2 Carrots, peeled and chopped into small dice
Around 400ml of beef gravy, made with bisto gravy powder OR beef stock
Salt and Pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce , Optional
900g floury potatoes, such as Maris Piper or King Edward, peeled and cut into even sized pieces (I cut them into quarters)
75g butter
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to season
