INGREDIENTS
4 oz bacon, cut into 1/4 inch pieces
1 small yellow onion, cut into 1/4-inch dice
11/2 ribs celery, cut into 1/4 inch dice
1/2 cup all purpose flour
4 cups of chicken broth
3 cups peeled, 1/2 inch potato cubes (about 2 med baking potatoes)
1 cup half-and-half
1/4 tsp ground white pepper
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1 TBSP salt (optional)
1/4 pound sharp cheddar cheese grated
